We’re Not Just a Sunday Place.

Welcome to The First Congregational Church of Camden: a vibrant family of Christians, growing in faith, centered in Christ and committed to community.

We come together for worship, to grow in our understanding of the power and responsibility of Christianity, to share in God’s love and to reach out to others as Christ has taught us.

You will find us active here all week long, be it learning through study; support through prayer; service through free soup lunches, prayer shawl knitting and free clothing for the needy; or support of local non- profits and of our Boy Scouts.

We urge you to explore our website in order to gain greater insight into who we are and what we value most in our role and responsibilities as Christians.

We are an Open and Affirming Congregation of the UCC, and we hope that you will visit us soon whether you live right here in the mid-coast or happen to be visiting "from away.”

No matter who you are or where you are in life’s journey, you are welcome here, every day of the week! There is so much that we can do together!

Spend as much time as you want on our website and then, even better, come be with us and see for yourself.

Our Church's Open and Affirming statement is available here.

Mes Amis in concert
Sunday, October 5th at 4:00pm
at the church
Mes Amis is a Gypsy jazz quartet featuring guitarist, vocalist and composer Steve Lynnworth, Shane Ellis on clarinet and saxophone, Harry Richter on rhythm guitar and Wells Gordon on upright bass. Together they play an infectious mix of traditional Gypsy, Latin and American jazz standards, along with many original compositions. The concert is brought to you by Friends of Music, and it's free and open to the public. A reception will follow the concert in the Pilgrim Room. Hope to see you there!

We worship every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Please join us.
Nursery and childcare are available.

Children are dismissed for Church school during the service.
