ANNOUNCEMENTS
_TODAY is our last service of the summer with Charles and Nicholas. Come say thanks and good-bye to them at a special Fellowship Hour in their honor right after the service.

Table or talk to Vicki or Cate. CHURCH SCHOOL BEGINS SEPTEMBER 14.
_Kevin returns to the pulpit next Sunday.
_Our August camping trip is coming right up! RAIN OR SHINE! If you are interested in camping or have already signed up please note that Aug. 23-25 is Saturday through Monday. Cate will be calling people soon to arrange our shuttle from Lincolnville to Warren Island. Warren Island is a peaceful spot with spectacular views of the bay. This is a “rustic” campsite, tents, outhouses and a water pump. Call Cate if you have any questions and hope to see you there! Still time to sign up!.
_Help the Earth and our Junior Youth Group! Return your bottles and cans or just drop them off at the Coastal Workshop and ask them to donate the deposit to the Congregational Church. Sticker’s are available to put on your bags over the opportunities table if you just want to drop them off and not wait.
_CHOIRS! Fall rehearsals will start for Sanctuary Choir, Wednesday, September 17, 7:30—9 pm. The beginning of the fall season is a wonderful time to join; inquiries always invited - contact Sheldon Gaard 236-4821 or harpistetc@gwi.net or sheldongaard@verizon.net.
First Choral Bells Rehearsal - Monday, September 15, 7—8:15 pm. One spot left to fill.
A note from Sue Hopkins, Church President
Nan's going to be with us a while longer! Our church administrator, Nan Smith, has been unable to sell her home, and therefore must reluctantly postpone her move to Texas until her house sells. Regarding the celebration we had planned to honor Nan on September 14, all elements will be placed on hold until the appropriate time. Let's keep Nan in our prayers, in hopes that she will be able to realize her dream in the shortest amount of time possible, and that we will soon be able to celebrate the conclusion of her time with us.
