Music plays an integral role in our worship together. Each Sunday we celebrate and express our faith through the singing of hymns, choral music, organ and piano selections as well as other forms of ensemble contributions. As the purpose of music in our worship is great, we strive towards bringing understanding, spirit, and enjoyment to our commitment.
The Sanctuary Choir
Under the direction of Matthew Mainster, the Sanctuary Choir is a volunteer adult choral ensemble that has a strong sense of community and purpose. The group can range anywhere from 15 to 23 members on any given Sunday, always with hearts to sing!
If you would like to make a joyful noise, please join us for rehearsal on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, from September through June.
Also under the direction of Matthew Mainster, Choral Bells is our handbell ringing ensemble. The group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, and plays during worship service once a month, generally on the third Sunday, from September through June. The group performs on three octaves of Schulmerich handbells and three octaves of Malmark Choirchimes. The ringers share a great fellowship as we work together to create unique worship music.
Both of our choirs welcome new members. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Matthew Mainster, Director of Music.
