First Congregational Church of Camden introduces Montessori based curriculum
Camden, Maine - The First Congregational Church has recently implemented a new Montessori based curriculum called Godly Play.  Godly Play is rooted in story, wonder, liturgy, discovery and joy as children seek and find the mystery of God's presence.  It is an imaginative approach for working with children, an approach that supports, challenges, nourishes, and guides their spiritual quest. The program is led up by Elizabeth Lally, the Christian Education Director.  For more information, please contact her at or read more about Godly Play at
Sunday school for pre-K through ninth grade students runs from 8:45 to 9:30 am, just prior to the worship service.
