Join Us in Worship

Come join us as we celebrate the love of God, the gift of community, and find renewal for our daily lives. All are welcome!

Our 9:30 am Sunday services are hybrid. You can join us in person or online via Zoom. To receive the Zoom link, please call the church office at 207-236-4821 or send an email to becky@camdenucc.org.

We also offer seasonal worship services on Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter, along with occasional outdoor summer worship and seasonal Vesper Services for quiet reflection, song, and prayer. Subscribe to our mailing list for updates.

What to Expect

Come as you are

Most people dress comfortably. You are welcome exactly as you arrive.

Bring your questions

You do not need to have everything settled to be part of this community.

Stay for coffee

After worship, you are invited to stay for conversation and connection, with no pressure.

Find us easily

First Congregational Church is located at the corner of Elm Street/Route 1 and Free Street in Camden. Look for the tall steeple! Free parking is available behind the church, with entrances from both Elm Street and Free Street.

Share fellowship

After the service, everyone worshiping in person is invited to fellowship time with Fair Trade coffee, tea, and treats. It is a lovely time to see old friends and make new ones. If you are joining by Zoom, you may also join a small-group breakout room after worship. Bring your beverage and goodies!

Enter accessibly

The sanctuary is accessible through the covered entry from the parking lot, which leads to Pilgrim Fellowship Hall. A greeter will meet you there and point you in the right direction. For specific accessibility questions, please call the church office at 207-236-4821.

Our Children’s Program is Under Construction…

However, children are always welcome in worship!

We know that children wiggle, whisper, ask questions, drop things, need snacks, and sometimes have big feelings at inconvenient moments. That is all part of being a church family. Please know that fussing, fidgeting, and a little extra movement in the pews do not bother us. Truly.

While our children’s education program is currently in a season of transition, we warmly invite children and families to worship with us on Sunday mornings. Your whole family is welcome here, just as you are.

We believe worship is enriched by the presence of people of all ages, including our youngest participants. Whether your child sits quietly, colors, wiggles, listens, or needs to step out for a moment and come back in, there is room for you here.
